Kitchen

Kitchens are one of the most frequently used areas in a home. With constant food preparation and daily activity, surfaces quickly collect grease, fingerprints, bacteria and dirt.

At Shyne, we pay special attention to hygiene and detail when cleaning kitchens.

This section focuses on kitchen surfaces, cabinets and drawers. Other areas, such as ovens, refrigerators and sinks, are covered separately.

01 / Kitchen Surfaces

Clean every surface. Don't miss the details.

Equipment needed:

  • Blue microfiber cloth

  • Universal cleaner

  • Soft cleaning sponge (if needed)

Use a blue cloth and a surface-compatible universal cleaner to remove dirt, grease and stains.

For stubborn marks, gently use the soft side of a sponge, provided it is safe for the surface.

Make sure to clean:

  • Countertops and work surfaces

  • Cabinet doors and drawer fronts

  • Handles and built-in grips

  • Backsplashes and accessible wall surfaces

  • Exterior of the refrigerator

  • Undersides of cabinets

  • Baseboards and kickboards

Pay Attention to Handles & Grips

Handles and built-in grips collect dirt and grease from frequent use.

For recessed grips, fold your cloth and use your finger to reach inside. If necessary, use a suitable non-scratching tool covered with a cloth.

Always check corners, edges and hidden areas for remaining dirt.

02 / Inside Cabinets & Drawers

Every corner counts.

During move-out cleanings and deep cleans, we also clean inside kitchen cabinets and drawers when included in the job requirements.

Use a blue microfiber cloth, universal cleaner and, if necessary, a soft sponge.

Make sure to clean:

  1. Inside surfaces and drawer bottoms.

  2. Shelves, including the top and underside.

  3. Cabinet doors, both inside and outside.

  4. Sides, edges and corners.

  5. Handles, hinges and accessible areas underneath.

Remove loose dirt and crumbs before wiping surfaces. Avoid excessive moisture, especially on wooden and laminated materials.
