Your Training Journey
From your first introduction to your first independent shift.
At Shyne, we believe in potential over experience.
Whether you're completely new to professional cleaning or already have experience, our training programme is designed to give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver the Shyne Standard.
You'll learn by doing, receive guidance from your supervisor and get feedback along the way.
Here's what your training journey looks like.
01 — Onboarding Workshop
Getting to know Shyne
Before your first shift, we'll introduce you to everything you need to get started.
During the workshop, we will:
Go through the onboarding presentation and training handbook.
Set up your accounts in our apps and systems.
Introduce our structures and daily workflows.
Review your assigned working locations and any location-specific procedures.
Finalize your individual training plan.
02 — First Shift
Learning by doing · With your supervisor
Your first shift is all about getting familiar with the work and putting your new knowledge into practice.
Get introduced to the property, key procedures and storage room.
Complete all assigned cleaning tasks yourself, with guidance and support from your supervisor.
Take part in a training validation, where your supervisor checks your work and provides feedback.
03 — Second Shift
Building confidence · With your supervisor
During your second shift, you'll build on what you've learned and focus on improving your skills.
Review your previous shift and the feedback you received.
Complete all assigned cleaning tasks yourself, with your supervisor's guidance.
Complete another training validation and receive feedback on your progress.
04 — Third Shift
Working independently · Without your supervisor
It's time to put your training into practice independently.
Complete all assigned cleaning tasks on your own.
Have your work reviewed through a training validation performed by your supervisor.
Receive final feedback and approval of your cleaning quality.
Ready to Get Started?
Remember, your training is designed to help you succeed.
Ask questions, stay curious and use the feedback you receive to keep improving.
